Your Show

Flatwalk, Please is a storytelling interview podcast that captures the heart, humor, and heritage of the Tennessee Walking Horse world. Hosted with focus on history, hopes for the future, and a deep appreciation for the breed, each episode features real stories from the people who live and breathe Walking Horses—trainers, riders, breeders, owners, and fans.

Whether it’s a funny memory from the barn, a behind-the-scenes look at the show ring, or a heartfelt tale of connection between horse and human, expect to hear guests celebrate the culture and characters that make the Walking Horse community so special.

This is a no-drama, no-politics zone—just great stories, genuine people, and a lot of laughs. This podcast is your place to connect, reminisce, and honor the horses and people who make this breed so special.

Your Host

I’m your host, Kim Richwine, and Tennessee Walking Horses have been part of my story since day one. I grew up ringside—my mother was a Walking Horse trainer, and I began showing at the age of five. What started as a childhood passion turned into a lifelong love for the breed and the incredible community that surrounds it.

With a background in broadcasting, radio, and voice work, I’ve spent years behind the mic as a horse show announcer and event emcee. Now, I’m bringing that voice and energy to the podcast world—sharing stories, laughs, and conversations from inside the Tennessee Walking Horse industry.

This podcast is my way of mixing two things I love: storytelling and the TWH community. Expect interviews, memories, barn gossip (the good kind), and plenty of laughs—because if you can’t laugh at yourself in show clothes, you’re doing it wrong.
